HFA’s Global Impact

Wendy China 1Lab Director Wendy Rogers is presenting lab research in 4 countries on 3 continents in the next 1.5 months. She will be at international conferences in Suzhou, China (Chinese Congress on Gerontology and Health Industry), Kobe, Japan (WHO Global Forum on Innovation for Ageing Populations), Groningen, the Netherlands (HFES-Europe), and Los Angeles, USA (HFES).   • Akanksha Prakash (pictured) was designated a Human Factors & Ergonomics Society Student Member with Honors.
  • Sean McGlynn received the “Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly Authority of Fulton County Scholar Award.”
  • Laura Barg-Walkow was named as a George Health Systems Fellow by the Georgia Tech/Emory University Health Systems Institute.
  • Laura Barg-Walkow was also selected as a GVU Foley Scholar Finalist.
